Now that I have made a excuse for the delay: time to get back to business. The big news today is out of Massachusetts and Georgia. In Massachusetts, the GOP candidate (Baker) has expanded his lead for Governor thanks to a poll today that gives him a 9 point lead that no one else has been seeing. The race is likely still within a couple points.
In Georgia, Jason Carter moves a bit closer and Michelle Nunn moves out front of David Purdue for the open Senate seat. The complication here is the run-off that will result of neither candidate reaches 50% in November.
Orman, Shaheen, Hagan, and Ernst maintain slim advantages in today's polling. The GOP Senate chances tick down a hair to 62% from yesterday's 65% and the cycle high of 66%.
