We got another poll out of Arkansas. It is yet another partisan poll, however this time from a different pollster. Though Pryor still has a couple point edge in non-partisan polls, the recent polls out of the state are from partisan (conservative) sources. Regardless, it is our newest Arkansas poll and moves the needle towards Cotton by a margin that should encourage the Cotton camp. Oddly enough, this poll shows the Gubernatorial race sitting right on the margin of error.
We also got a couple partisan polls on the Democratic side conducted by PPP. The Ohio poll shows a drastically closer race that previous polls. There has been limited polling out of Ohio thus far so it is hard to gauge this poll in context. Also polling out of Georgia, Kingston holds a 6 point lead over Purdue for the July 22nd Republican Senate run-off. The poll has Carter within one for the Governor's Mansion and Nunn ahead of both Republicans. Again, this is a partisan poll, however PPP does have a very good track record in recent years in being one of the better polling firms out there. Later this week I will be posting on the track record of pollsters and methodology.
Tomorrow out of PPP we will have new numbers out of Mississippi. We will have NBC/Marist poll out of Michigan tomorrow. Finally, later this week we will have more PPP numbers out of Colorado.
In other polling news: Surprise surprise... there is little support for either Impeachment or a Lawsuit of the President. This poll comes out of Rasmussen.
